Afternoon Tea | Hen Party

On Sunday I organised an Afternoon Tea Hen Party for my sister at Rowhill Grange Hotel & Utopia Spa in Kent. This place is a lovely hidden gem tucked away in the Kent countryside with beautiful gardens and a beautiful 19th Century Victorian Manor house, this venue is perfect for weddings, weekends away and even Spa days.

I have been here a few times as it is local, the first was for a spa day and lunch with my Husband for our second Wedding Anniversary, the second was for a good friends Wedding Breakfast & Reception party. This is truly a stunning place where you can come and escape the stresses of the world.

I arranged the hire of The Boardroom in the main house as we had a group of 15 people, where we had our own room with lovely big windows with views of the grounds.

We had our own service from the lovely waitresses and they were brilliant is making sure we had everything we needed.

PRIVATE AFTERNOON TEA

The Traditional Afternoon Tea was £27.95 per person and that included the following:

A selection of finger sandwiches - Egg Mayonnaise, Classic Cucumber, Smoked Salmon & Horseradish and Ham & Mustard

The Tea Selection - English Breakfast Tea, Earl Grey, Camomile, Assam, Darjeeling, Peppermint Tea, Lemon and Ginger and Strawberry Tea

Freshly baked Scones with and without raisins with fresh Clotted Cream and Strawberry Jam

A selection of mini cakes, macaroons and eclairs

HEN PARTY GAMES

As it was a Hen Party I made sure to include some fun games like:

Bridal Shower Bingo

How well do you know the Bride?

How well does the Bride know the Groom?

Engagement Ring Game - The aim of the game is not to say the word "Bride" or "Wedding" whoever ends the afternoon with the most rings by taking rings off of others if they say the words won

I made homemade favours for everyone, my chocolate chip cupcakes with vanilla buttercream frosting.

It was such a lovely afternoon shared with close family and friends and hopefully a memorable one for the Bride.

Here are all the photos from the day..

  2. Wow!! Amazing afternoon tea party. These deserts are looking so luscious and bride is also looking beautiful. Recently went to my friend’s tea party at one of New York venues. She did a great job in arranging everything in the best way. Liked everything and enjoyed a lot.
