Food & Lifestyle

For February's first post I have decided to share my top tips for living a 'healthy lifestyle'. A lot of my friends ask me how I do it, I eat healthy all the time, I exercise at least twice a week and have an active social life with my family.

Post-pregnancy skin can be a big shock to many new mums and we are made to feel pressured to get back into 'shape' after. However, it is important during pregnancy that we moisturise our precious baby bump to prevent stretching and splitting of the skin which for many become our 'tiger marks' and there is absolutely nothing wrong with that, I'm proud of mine! Just because your body has visibly changed that doesn't mean you can't try and improve its appearance, not for others but for yourself, you can still continue to look after your skin post pregnancy by continuing to use lotions and potions.

Over the past few years I have really being doing my research into buying more natural and organic beauty products and if you have read my post Coco For Coconut Oil you will know how much I love the stuff and use it a lot in replacement for beauty products. One morning I was cleaning my kitchen when I came across a coffee container with only a quarter amount of coffee granules left so I decided to throw together a coffee body scrub. I have made scrubs in the past using a lot of ingredients you find in the kitchen but I haven't tried making anything in a long time so I decided to give it a go.
