Food & Lifestyle

This post is a little late as my birthday was at the beginning of the month but hey ho parenting comes first :) This year my birthday celebrations were spread out over a week and a bit, spending time with both close friends and family.

I will warn you that this post will mainly be a gallery of my photos from my birthday celebrations as the photos are mainly food haha...I do like to eat!

It has been a long time since I did some baking and I forgot how much I loved it!

This time my 3 year old daughter asked to help and I must admit even though it took twice as long I thoroughly enjoyed seeing how happy she was helping me bake cakes.

So we decided to share a few photos, the recipe we used and the finished cakes below for you all to see.

We hope you are all enjoying your Easter Holidays with your families and eating lots of chocolate eggs :)
It seems to be a chore when it comes to healthy eating but it really shouldn't be that difficult. Experimenting with vegetable, spices and herbs with your protein is a great way to keep a balanced diet. I have found that a lot of the time when you make homemade food from scratch preparing is the slowest part but if you get into a routine of cooking healthy and preparing lunches and dinner, being a chore is a thing of the past. So get in the kitchen and enjoy cooking this amazing meal in just 20 minutes.
This is one of my daughters favourite dishes, its quick and simple and guaranteed to be enjoyed by all the family. I found that this delicious recipe was a great way to fit protein into my daughters diet as she loves her fruit and veg but is very fussy when it comes to eating meats. This recipe can be created to personal taste using different meats substituting chicken for either turkey, pork or beef.

Want something healthy and easy to cook in 15 Minutes? Here is my recipe for this delicious Parsley Chicken & Pasta, perfect for those summer lunches or light dinners.

January has been a very busy month for me which meant that I haven't found much time to do any of my baking..so I took this an excuse to bake my mother a birthday cake :) I decided to do what I do best but on a larger scale, a Giant Cupcake. This was my first attempt and it turned out surprisingly well. So below I am sharing the ingredients and some tips to create a beautiful birthday cake.

Me and the family took a trip up to London last Saturday for the Turkish festival at South Bank, located right along the Thames the Turkish National flags could be seen swaying in the wind to mark the occasion.
